I am not playing Rivals until it is fixed because it is pointless. 3 out of 5 games I played I was winning deep into the game, the other team takes a penalty and then "syncing" nonsense happens and then get the "Lost connection to the other player" message and don't get a win or a loss. Wasn't the start of the period (even though I experience that as well). Just a complete waste of time. Obviously some people know how to trigger it and it is the sore losers. I took a video of my most recent one, will crop it down and drop it in here when I get a chance.
Yeah worth looking into, I heard it's happening on PS5 also. It does seem like there is a way to trigger it.
