Franchise Mode Unauthorized Lineup Changes

Okay so I’ve been playing franchise mode for a few seasons now and this is the first time I’ve had this issue. I set my starting lineup during the preseason, haven’t lines set down to the special teams and player roles. All my lines have chemistry at +5 and everything. I get to the first day of the season and my roster changes completely. Half my players are sent down to the AHL(even some requiring waivers but never passing through) and players are called up who are rookies(who are AHL eligible) for no reason and now my lines are all screwed up and one player has a NMC so I can’t send him back down. Normally I’d assume it’s the NMC forcing him back to the roster but I literally did the same thing last season with no issue.
