I am on Xbox and some games I make it to the end. Others my game will crash mid game. My screen goes black and I get kicked to the Home Screen of my Xbox. Does anyone know why this is happening? There are zero warning signs by the way. One second I’m about to take a faceoff the next I’m on the Xbox Home Screen. Next time it happens I will try and screen record and see what it picks up.

Its probably due to an overloaded modem. Having a variety of tech devices operating at the same time, can cause overload. Check your modem to see how many devices are active. If there are many. Try shutting down those not in use. This will allow your console to be free of a competitive modem. You can also try to dump the consoles cache. The more it builds up, the longer it takes for your games to respond efficiently. And periodically do a fresh restart. It will get rid of possible lag. As a last resort. You can reinstall the game, as there may be a glitch somewhere in the software. By reinstalling. You wont lose your current data.
