Cross crease, far side, short side, these aren't glitches. Goalies could provide better coverage, I'll agree with that. Something like the puck phasing through the goalie would be considered a glitch. Not covering the post like their supposed to would also be in issue. I'm just saying, every year we have people claiming a goal is a glitch when it's really more about not recognizing your opponent is taking the same shot over and over again without defending it. A real team is going to look for holes in their opponent's defenses and exploit those. If there is a goal that's a legitimate glitch, we'll get it reported to the team for investigation.
I get all that but that doesn't explain why any goalie of any rating lets in the same goals constantly.
How you can say that isn't a weak point thats exploited.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree on that one mate.

You can also watch real hockey and see the same goals scored. Regardless, this is a video game. People are going to take the shots with the highest chances of scoring. In no way am I saying goalies are perfect, but it's also unrealistic to believe they're going to stop every far side, short side, cross-crease, forehand backhand, etc. At this point, people pretty much think every goal is a glitch. Your opponent is taking advantage of what you're giving them. You have the ability to score the same goals they do. They just might be better at defending them.
As far as 25 goes though, we'll have to wait and see what is discovered. If a goal is truly a glitch, we'll get it reported to the team.

As I mentioned before, every edition has a few goals/moves that are easily exploited. You will find this in any game, no matter the sport or even type of game. People will find something that just works easier, or is not as easily defended against. It is impossible to create a game without this. It will likely take less than a week to find a few of these. I think anyone expecting a perfect video game or that there will be no moves to exploit, does not have realistic expectations. In the decades that I have been playing video games, I have yet to find a perfect video game, I doubt if I ever will. Programming is simply not going to be perfect, ever. As for moves IRL, we saw Draisaitl, MD, and Hyman use the same move repeatedly in playoffs and it worked, until the next team figured out what they were doing, and then they had to adjust strategy, so you are correct, that even IRL you find these plays that can exploited.

You are taking what I'm saying out of context. At no point did I say a goalie should be saving every far side shot, I'm not stupid.
If that is a weak point in the game, which it is in 24,its hopefully something that the devs have noticed and can possibly fix or have fixed for this years game.
Look I'm probably more buzzing about the new release than most. I bought the deluxe edition minutes after it came out. I've supported the franchise since the beginning. I don't need for it to be highlighted that its only a game. I know exactly what it is and I also know the difference between a good NHL game and a bad one. Last year was a massive let down. I don't think I'm alone with that opinion.
Obviously I have high hopes for 25 or I wouldn't have spent £100 on it.
