First let me talk about how inconsistent the goalies are. I can go one game with a goalie saving everything and then the next game he gets scored in 3 times in 30 seconds. I think this is a really big issue that needs to be addressed. It feels like i’m watching a chiefs game because of how scripted this game is. I would like answers.
The goalies are the same way in HUT
Yep. No consistency. I am starting to think there’s a hidden handicap for people who went on a losing streak or just don’t have great teams.
Nothing to really say - It's been this way for as long as I can remember. I honestly don't think there is some hidden feature making goalies that much better or worse since 9.999 times out of 10, a good team will always find a way to win.
It probably feels worse than normal while playing HUT since you can sort of break players even more by maxing out certain stats

Oh mines given up worse than that. He either plays like the best goalie in the game or you’re just better off having a 72 ovr goalie in net.
When this happens usually the other teams goalie stops everything. have had woc games we are staying in the offensive zone majority of the game, end of the game we have 1 goal and around 20 shots and the other teams got 2 goals with 2 shots. (World of Chel)
go to the next game and we proceed to score 4 straight in under 1 minute other team leaves the game because yea who wants to deal with that really. I'd say that in most of the games where we score like that I've stopped thinking my team is better, i think that the other team was just given a disadvantage with the goalie.
This happens in HUT and in Versus as well
Same in Franchise mode... an 82 OVR goalie is just as likely to win the Vezina as a 90 OVR goalie. Not to mention, regardless of overall, a goalie who was amazing in the regular season is just as likely to be terrible (or great) in the postseason as a goalie who was poor to average in the regular season.
