I can definitely understand where you're coming from. NHL 23 had that great fast-paced, physical feel that made it so fun, especially in modes like EASHL. The big hits and the smooth controls with the skill stick really added to the excitement. NHL 24 seems to have dialed it back a bit, and it's frustrating when the pace and intensity you loved aren’t there anymore. It’s kind of like how Partner Hours Starbucks used to be perfectly scheduled to match the rush—things ran smoothly and quickly, making the experience more enjoyable. Hopefully, the next updates or patches bring some of that old energy back!

The thing is though not all players like that fast paced playstyle and feel like what is there now is perfect and closer to a true hockey experience.
I wouldn't want anything to really change with the gameplay (when it comes to speed and stamina, even hitting is decent offline - most of my games I average 30 hits along with the AI).
It's a very enjoyable experience offline, but can understand how this isn't great for some of the online modes.
