Its possible they have similar type contracts now with College Football does with the NILs. Fingers crossed as this would be huge for the game.

I know it is possible by law since years to buy college player likenesses.. i hope to get a confirmation from EA, but think they dont will respond now. All drafted players from college leagues in at the next game ?

Taken from the NHLs understanding. A player who has been drafted but has yet to play a game in the NHL or offshoot league. Can have his pic used. The contract EA has is with the NHLPA. They determine whose pic and info can be used. Seeing this. Since Hagen is currently not part of the NHLPA, I would assume that his pic could be used, since it is not under the control of the NHLPA. Even though he is eligible for this years draft. There would also be an issue of acceptance on his part as to whether he would allow EA to use his pic and status. Under the NHLPA, he has no choice as all players are under the mandate of said organization.

Ok, but why than no drafted college player likenesses from past years without NHLPA contracts are not used by EA, if EA could ask every player for own permission ? Not logical for me.
