Disagree. Players who've previously relied on magnetic, speed-burst hitting are now suffering the consequences from leaning on that for so long. EA tried to introduce more responsible hitting via an update last year, but I think that lasted 2-weeks due to the cries from the community.
Stick to your guns on this EA. Force these players to adapt and learn that a missed hit will have consequences.

Yes, it's easy to avoid a hit when an opponent is charging one up and very obviously going for one. That's how it should be. If an NHL player can see a hit coming, they can avoid it most of the time.
This idea that 'turning your body negates a hit' is not true when it comes to big hits. However, if a little guy is throwing shoves at me and I have body positioning and balance, it absolutely should not knock me off the puck. 'Negate' implies that the intended target is in control of the failed hit, but it's the hitter who is incorrectly throwing a body check that is the 'negater'.
Yes because when Rempe hits someone in real life he has to "charge up" .
It's absolutely true about twisting your body negates a hit because when twisting the hit bounces off.
If I recall you said the same thing last year when they took hitting out with that update and they changed it back within the week so 0-1.
HUT is a bigger community, the most profitable and most competitive. The ongoing trend in the hut community is to fix hitting so we're all not puck ragging it.

He does. To land a hit in the NHL, you need speed and timing. In videogame land, this is 'charging up', so to speak.

Show us a video of someone doing this to negate a high speed hit from a player with decent hitting stats.

Actually, considering the development team chose to not only revert the change for a final release but improve upon it.. I'd say it's 2-0 bud š

Speeding up to hit someone would result in charging. š

Where did I say speed up? You see, in hockey, you can keep most of your attained speed (diminishing, of course) by taking a route that involves no big changes in direction or momentum.
This is what I mean when I say 'speed'. I didn't say 'speed up'.
