I get it, I'm old
With no other options of playing a hockey game, some of us are basically forced to buy NHL 25 or whatever years. I've been playing since NHLPA 93, yes, I'm old, but this game is so frustrating anymore. The more I play, the more I realize the stupid or lazy bugs, lags or whatever else. It's been mentioned so many times this year with the issue of the line changes, sending out the wrong players, which drains the entire team and still.....no fix. The hitting has become atrocious. When you go to line up a hit and at the last second, completely miss, which leads to breakaways or 2 on 1's numerous times a game. Unbelievably, the CPU never misses a hit. Or, you dominate an entire game, with a shutout, then all of the sudden, the last few minutes, the CPU all of the sudden becomes an all star team and scores numerous goals, even though they could do nothing the entire game. Or, when the CPU gets 16 shots on net and scores 5 or 6 times. When playing with the alumni teams and you can't use so of the alumni jersey's or reverse retro jerseys makes no sense. Missing classic jerseys on certain teams, Flyers old Orange, Caps Blue Screaming eagle, Pens 90's Robo jerseys, but lets keep adding jerseys that most don't care about. The fighting needs a major upgrade. It's been the same for probably 10 years. After fights, when the user player goes to the box, he stands outside of it, just standing there, while the cpu is able to go inside the box. This has been a dumb issue for years. Or, when the players land on the ice after a fight, they randomly go sliding across the ice. Stupid stuff like this needs to be fixed. It's been in the game for years. For the people that work for EA on here, I know you will make excuses or ask for video, but if you actually play the game, there is no way you do not notice this stuff during a game. This has been the same crap for years. The constant Interference penalties is ridiculous. I can't tell you how many times I've been called for it after a faceoff. Take a year off and fix the game. Also, while I understand the whole idea for this game is to make as much money as possible, how about upgrade some of the offline stuff as well. Some of us that play do not care about the online crap, but I know.....that's where you make your money.
