Sorry that can not be. Original headshot pictures from all new rookies like Leonard, Perreault. Demidov and more are now in at NHL com. Thats the official NHL site. You need only to ask for permission. If you dont have they could send, or you can copy from the site after getting permission. They even will be not in NHL 26 game, cause it was every year the same process in your game not to include. For example. Celebrini, Cutter Gauthier entering the league with first games one year ago in April, had official pics in NHL com exactly same time when played their first games 2024, April. Why arent their pictures not in NHL 25 ?

Community ManagerIt's not as simple as asking permission. There is a lot more involved. We use every image we're legally able to use. We can't just copy images from websites and put them in the game.
What is more involved like is it money wise? Like how much does it cost to do all of it. Like why isn’t the Rangers horn not even barley in the game and just with in play now. I think you guys should negotiate with MSG on it.

I don't know all that's a part of licensing. That's something I'm not involved in.
I know the Rangers only allow their horn to be used in MSG. So, you can't use it in a WoC arena, for example.
Are they preventing you guys from using it another game mode? Don’t the Hershey bears literally use that exact same horn.
I am 100% sure their is a faster way than to wait for headshot pictures from Demidov, Perreault, Leonard till NHL 27. Your team need to find a faster solution. Plz talk with them at the next meeting. Also many long time league players have older headshot pictures and arent changed since years. I dont think it is a matter of permission or not getting newer player images.

Hopefully, this process will improve in the future.
Oh yeah lastly about this. You guys can’t let people literally hate your game on-purpose when people are requesting to fix it because this to me literally looks like lazy work.

I get how it's easy to make that assumption. It's absolutely not an easy process though. Licensing is a very complex process.

I thought it was something related to this but if it was. The horn wouldn’t be in the game at all. What are the Rangers are exactly asking for?
