Center was in front of the net looking for a rebound, AI RW doing who knows what, guy got the rebound at about the faceoff dot, a little behind it,
I guess the point I'm trying to convey is that the success of the puck carrier in burning your D actually starts long before that, although there are improvements to be made on CPU D.
An opponent being able to corral a rebound, generate speed through their own zone and eventually make a pass to a speeding player through the neutral zone means there's little to no impedance to generating that speed.
I get the point, but the issue is the defenseman is still in position to do literally anything to try and take the puck from the player receiving the pass and just doesn't. The player receiving the pass isn't what frustrates me, cause you can't hit him before he gets the puck (unless you wanna be called for it) its literally that the defense just lets him go right by instead of making some type of move.
How come user players can defend that attack but new and improved AI's can't...
