Jersey Customization in Franchise mode

There’s still no option for jersey customization in franchise mode (tried owner mode on & off). Wondering if there’s any progress being made on this? I’ve seen it posted a few months back, hard to believe it wouldn’t be in the game at all after so many years with it there. 
Definitely bummed about that because I enjoy switching up my jerseys once in a while.
