Lack of Penalites

I agree. Charging and interference should be regulated further. It used to be a staple thing to make sure the games were in tact now it feels like a game of bowling with people running around hitting but then nobody wants to fight. It’s such horse**bleep** players don’t get penalized as much as they should. 

I disagree. I think that the AI should never cause penalties cause when you’re controlling one player you shouldn’t have to worry about the AI screwing with the game you are playing. 

So there should never, ever be a power play offline unless a human controlled player causes it?  I strongly disagree with that.

I think this is where it comes down to a mode discrepancy imo. Personally, if youre gonna be in a competitive skill based atmosphere (multiplayer) then I have to agree, it should be player only penalties. If youre gonna play a simulation like franchise mode or a connected gm type of deal where you arent really keeping track of online stats or where stats get reset every time you restart a franchise then I would want CPU penalties. But when online keeps track of your win/losses, PIM, +/-, etc and there is no reset then I wouldnt want a CPU penalty to be the difference in a game.

I wanted to thank the EA Sports Hockey team for fixing the CPU penalties. I have complained for years that the CPU teams do not have a realistic number of penalties.  This year seems to have addressed this issue and I just wanted to say THANK YOU.
