Having users send "video evidence" of situations just seems like a detrimentally wrong way to approach game development. It really shouldn't be up to the customers to come up with evidence and instances of errors and problems with the gameplay. This approach just seems like it's fundamentally wrong and it doesn't show a lot of faith in the Developers ability to design a game and then make it function as it should.
This approach also has the wrong basis that everyone within the community want the game to play the same way, this is a fallacy. By implementing changes in this manner you will end up with a very schizophrenic experience where it's completely in-cohesive, and that's showing in the gameplay now. I really hope that EA will change the way they approach making games, because you cannot develop with thousands of people each pulling the game in a different direction.
Its also just weird in terms of business practice to expect your customers to spend time compiling all the video evidence of problems, it just seems to me that is really one of the basic functions of the development team to sort out.
