Line changes

why are line changes terrible?
5 on 5 play I switch defense lines and suddenly 2 forwards are jumping on for the D?

Happens 2-3 times per game. Injuries are turned off. Happens on the penalty kill too no matter what changes you make to edit lines.

My first line forwards shouldn’t be jumping on the ice when I’m selecting Defense pairing 3.

Hi there. Can you get me a video showing this is happening? I'll forward it on to the team for review. Thank you.

It's hard to get a video of this but I'll do my best and make a bug report for this. What I have noticed it wasn't my full first line though.

      During the game

I went from my 3rd line and 3rd defensive pairing - changed to my 1st pairing and my 4th line (manual change during game action - so not at a faceoff draw)

        - in this instance my 1st line defensive pairing game out and my 2 skaters out of 3 for my 4th line were on the ice (my first line right winger got on the ice instead - playing on the left side as well - the 4th line center and RW were on the ice with them). I have noticed this a few times and it seems to happen with the same player each time with the 4th line.

        - just to make this clear: I had no injuries and when I looked at my lines in game and before I started and the 1st line right winger was only on the 1st line.

        - not sure if this is intended or not but I don't remember seeing this in NHL 24 or NHL 22. I never played NHL 23 enough to know for sure.

Thanks for the details. I'm about to head out for a week so if you can get me a video, I'll get it submitted for review when I return on the 28th.
