Menu lag within franchise mode

I’ve noticed heavy lag when trying to scout (I remember seeing someone else with the same problem on Twitter but I can’t find the link). I feel as if I’m spamming X 5 or 6 times before it even selects the player I want scouted. 

I also noticed in the “find trade” it’s not listening to the players I select. I selected Skinner on Edmonton and the trade offers that came up were for one of the minor league goalies. I back out of the trade screen and still see Skinner has been selected but the offers keep going to the minor league goalie that is ahead of him on the list.
