My thoughts on NHL 25 after 5 hours of play
what i got so far …..
Pros
- hitting isn’t atrocious anymore but could still use improvement
- Overall gameplay seems to be better than 24.
- Goalies seem to be improved
- replays are better
Cons
- goalies let soft goals in from the corner. Also way too easy to score across crease.
- menus are mega laggy. Arguably worse than last year.
- nothing about this game feels next gen. No reason this couldn’t be on PS4 and PC. Please learn what next gen means because you obviously have no clue.
- Still have that mega garbage Fortnite goal celebration. Please get rid of them. No one likes it..
- Still hate the glow sticks. Looks cheesy.
- Hi skill modes (superstar/all-star) are broken and useless.
- music sucks. Need more heavy metal and less garbage indy crap. Please give us the option to use Spotify in replacement of your bad choices.
- Decrease controller vibration or add a slider

a step in the right direction but man. They tripped over the next gen thing. If this is “next gen” then we are doomed.
