I just saw the trailer of the new NHL 26 game. This makes me wonder if there will be a new commentary team? Like Chris Cuthbert's EA Sports debut including Craig Simpson's triumphant return to do the color? Like if they would team up with Cheryl Pounder to form a three person booth.
I kinda hope so, makes me miss 2003 where Jim Hughson and Don Taylor would just crack jokes. I find Cheryl's commentary off putting, comes across to me as "trying too-hard" and often doesn't mesh into a conversation at all. While its cool to have some people "with experience" talking about things, not everything needs microscopic analysis or 3 paragraphs of explanation.
Yeah. I'm hoping for Chris Cuthbert's debut.
