I won’t be buying NhL 26 and encourage everyone to do the same. Maybe finally the devs will put some effort into fixing this crap. The game is literally unplayable. For a 2025 iteration of gaming console sports game how has the franchise fallen so much. It feels mechanical with too many bugs to list. I’ve never had ZErO FUN playing a EA Sports hockey game. It’s actually super frustrating. Everything they advertised as improvements is actually worse than last year. The smart AI is a joke. Anyways, knowing EA they want to hide this kind of honest feedback so hopefully thongs change but either all the passionate hockey game devs have moved on or the few that are left have no say and its all about micro transactions. The Game is Awful has been for years. Basically since 2014.Hitting Controls are awful need to be put back to what they were up until 2023.Changing strategies Online is annoying Should be able to save presets Pressure system seems like a good idea but it has to work. Until you can figure out how to make it work remove it.Online Menus are so Laggy and Slow. So much clutter. Remove Hockey Bags completely. Make a team store so we can get the logos/jeseys for our custom teams faster .Allow us to put or winger at the top of the circle again on offensive zone faceoffs The A.i is useless for the 16 straight year.Goalies will make the Cross crease desperation save but cant stop the forehand back hand ever. Or he lets in the softest goals.Reverse Hitting is one sided and needs to be fixed or removed. The Player Throwing a reverse hit always wins regardless off attributes. I could go in for a hit with 90 body check and still get reverse hit by a guy with 75 body check. Prebuilds need to be removed from eashl and ones. If we cant build our guys how we want or use certain attributes then there shouldn't be prebuilds that have extremely high speed/agility plus wheels and elite edges.Gameplay is awful feels slow and sluggish most the time. But Gameplay is rarely ever addressed but adding things to the game that we never asked for continue to happen. We dont need to play dress up i dont need Halloween Hockey bags. Or Christmas Jerseys . Spend more time making the game play correctly.Why Would you ever remove. Match Club Size/Goalie? Why changing hitting.When are we going to see new customizable Logos or jerseys been the same stuff for years.Bring Back Custom music for Rinks goal horns and all3v3 should have power plays instead of penalty shots again.Just remake any of the NHL games Between NHL09-NHL14. Cause anything beyond 14 has been pretty awful. Ive gone from 1000games a season to less than 100. Because of How this game has gone downhill. The Game isnt Fun anymore. where to begin. I’ve played the game back to 1992. It was better back then. The players are terrible to control. Not fun at all. So many bugs. Trying to change strategies and lines are beyond frustrating with the endless and needless cut scenes between whistles. The time it takes to drop a puck, just watching as the ref stands there for 8 seconds. The actual gameplay sucks and feels mechanical as stated. The lack of depth in franchise mode. Lack of arena specific music and ambiance and again the in game controls and bugs are awful. The improved AI? Where? Go back and play an old EA game. See how fun it was. I am guessing the engine by which you run your sports games are not meant for sports as all of ea sports games including Madden, Fifa and Chel are a skeleton of their former self. All have fallen off a cliff. You guys are just worried about micro transactions and the actual gameplay has suffered for years now and this year its the worst it’s been. I’m not a hater, been playing chel for 20 years + on every console. This year is an embarrassment. Go watch a you tube review of the bugs and put in your search “whats happened to ea Sports hockey”, or “everything wrong with NHL 25 ea sports”. There are some really good analysis of what needs to be drastically improved. This years game hit rock bottom and I thought last years could not get any worse

EA_Aljo Game is Terrible.Eashl/Ones has been ruined. Between the Prebuilds that are over powered and the Fact Most Attributes Dont work the way they should really ruin the fun.Basically Speed Agility Acceleration Deke are the only Attributes really needed. It feels like there is little difference lower and Higher attributes. Outside those 4. I think the best way to explain this is if a Guy has 75 hitting And the opponent has 80+ Balance and strength The guy with lower hitting should Have little effect on the guy with higher balance. This includes puck control. Instead This game you can have 75 hitting and still rock people. Attributes need to work properly the Higher the Attribute the more Effect it has the lower it has the less it does.Another Flaw is Reverse hitting. The guy using the reverse hit always wins regardless of Attribute power. In ones ive used builds with 96 hitting and have been reversed hit by a wheels Dangler who has 65 hitting. Reverse hitting should again work based on The hitters power but doesnt just gives the guy the reverse hit all the time.Hip checking. Hip checking is usually just a clip/trip. Hip check is still broken. In game Players using hip check can not only travel great distances in the hip check posture but also make turns in the posture as well and still label people with minimum contact.If you cant get these Hits working properly remove them from the game till you canChecking in general needs to be returned to the old system. The timing system is a joke. And Needs to go. Ai Still awful after almost 20 years if Eashl still cant figure it out. Literally Ai dman just gets skated by cant read passes cant make passes Just completely useless.Ai goaltending. The Ai Goalie sill make the most ridiculous saves cross crease or clear as day picked corner saves but cant stop soft wristers from the point goals bounce off the glove and blocker flip up in the air and go in all the time. Also Ai goalie Cant cover or stop giving up soft rebounds Soft shots from all over the ice are always kicked back into the middle for easy rebound goals.Puck pick ups. Are still awful Cant tell you how many times i literally skate through loose pucks all the time. Also the one thing that should be more arcade than realistic is After Hitting a player sometimes the player lands on the puck skating into a player down on the ice cause the hitter to trip. Then what happens is the player who was hit gets up before the player who made the hit. Or what else can happen is the player who was hit falls on the puck and its impossible to get the puck from under them. It should be Easier to get the puck after making a good hit and also you shouldnt get punished/trip over the player who you hit.Removing Match club Size was a horrible idea. Customization section of Club. Add new logos specifically retro logos from Pitt Robo penguin/ Poohbear Bruins/Lightning old logo Remove female announcer from the game.Bring in Gord miller or Gary Thorne to call the game. Bring back Ray as well.Lots need to be fixed. All Player want is a game that works properly. What EA has done for years is Added A ton of garbage that no one has asked for. When all people want is A game that plays well and works the way it should. People want GM mode back but that hasn't been done but PWHL has. No offense to the women but why are they in the game? Its NHL if EA thinks there is potential for them Make PWHL 26. There is a shop for players but why not have a shop for teams so we can Unlock the logos /jerseys we want instead of the crap shoot Hockey bags. Also Instead of Have Certain things available by day just have everything available all the time. .Menus are incredibly slow.Bring back skate blade curve and stick curve.Also In free skate have Target shooting and Shot power clock so we can see if Attributes are actually working properly

Definitely agree with the checking. Its terrible. The shoulder check they implemented has taken away all other aspects of checking. Time to revert EA

Well like i said im not a big hitter so either way it really doesn't bother me that much and has for the skilled base one timers if that's what your referring too ,yeah those are ridiculous I've posted clips on this as you well know of me just doing it with a d man right on top of me
And as for the one button hip check guys ,I learned how to use that mechanic against them ,but they really need to get rid of that it just looks stupid

Hard disagree. The animations can be funky, but the execution of the mechanic is far more manual than before, with the exception of the hip check. Holding up on the right stick and having the game automatically heat-seak the puck carrier is something for rookie mode, IMO.

I feel like the previous hitting where you just had to hit up was more arcadey. Even worse when you locked on to someone in games farther back. Regardless, I think it's harder now to hit and some are having a hard time adapting. However, many are now just using hip check instead.

The core game is the best it's ever been. Some people struggle with upping their own skill-level to match the roster they bought in HUt with a credit card. It's a common issue that causes a lot of rage.

Can you give some actual details besides having trouble hitting and microtransactions on what your issues are? Feedback gets in front of the devs when it's constructive and detailed. Video always helps to highlight your issues as well.

What would you change about the hitting? Do you want it to go back to the more arcade style it was before?
