This isn't a 'coding' issue. EA is clearly trying different matchmaking methods to improve matchmaking quality and time. The problem is they're not communicating, AT ALL, about what has actually changed, why it was changed and what we should be looking for to determine if the change is resulting in the outcomes they wanted.
As I told someone else, this is sadly how they treat some things. Look at how they handled the removal of full presentation for NHL 23. There was no word on the change and after release the only thing that was officially said was that it was intended. Even after one forum got over 1000 comments on it. Still nothing else was said.
Only on the marketing for NHL 24 was that they stated their were bringing back some of it in a different format.
Seems like the same process here.
Also, I was actually never on these forums until this situation happened.
