"Ratings reveals" are designed to increase engagement. EA knows that people will argue and dispute them, which drives visits to their socials, the forums, etc. Whether the ratings discussions are negative or not, EA doesn't care - all they care about is you're talking about the game and remaining engaged through this depleted marketing campaign.
I understand that aspect, but it's specifically bad this year. I'm terrified to see the centers list
So you're saying that they give wildly incorrect ratings on purpose? I feel like giving accurate ratings for individual attributes would ALSO generate discussion so... idk if I buy that.
It seems like a way to let EA off the hook for the failure of not having good stats guys in their office by highlighting another (allegedly) intentional shortcoming.
