NHL 26 Franchise Mode Expansion - Optional Starting Roster as at June 18, 2025

Good evening,

I am a long-time almost exclusive player of franchise mode, and ever since expansion mode became available I almost always use it.

The start date of the expansion mode is June 18th prior to the entry draft that already took place prior to the release date of the new NHL series instalment. However, the rosters are always as at a later date which includes the prior entry draft sélections, new offseason contract signings, etc. 

What I have always wanted to have (instead of dauntingly, and incompletely attempting to craft  à custom version myself, as I cannot remove drafted players’ draft team and year) is a default expansion mode roster as at June 18th. This would eliminate thé doubled draft class for that year and actually put me in the position of exercising GM decisions during those moments in time as they unfolded before they happened.

My question is if this would be an easy accomplishment to add the roster as at June 18th, or if there are certain product limitations that could prevent its implementation.
