NHL26 BAP wishes

The wish list is very long. But first let me reply on the being drafted by your favorite team. Don’t use the draft and just use the option to pick your team. Yes you will being with a lower rating, but you’ll catch up quickly. OR, what you can do is just sim, sim and re-sim the Euro tournament until you get the team you want, but honestly, why waste time doing that, if your team is the Sharks, then just pick the Sharks and be done with it. 

I would like to see the OPTION of starting off in the AHL. I say OPTION because there are players that want instant gratification and want to score 50 goals as a 72 rated player. Just have the option of accepting a 2 way realistic contract or 1 way contract ONLY. This way everyone wins. 

I would like to see more pregame cut scenes like before. It’s currently like 10 seconds where other sports are 1min long. Let’s go back to the day where we had an actual Pre Game cut scenes where it shows my player. If it’s my first NHL game, show me skate around the ice alone as they do in the NHL. After the game, let’s have the three stars of the game come back on the ice. Presentation means a lot. Bring them back. Revamp the end game cut scene. 

NHL arena crowds: there are teams that fans travel well. Ever been to a Toronto home game when they play Montreal? About half the crowd cheers for Montreal, let’s have more realistic crowds. You already have a “fan base” rating within the game. Incorporate that into the BAP game. Why does a team in last place still have a sold out arena every game? Make it realistic. Open seats, or more visiting teams jerseys based on “Fan Base” ratings. You team a team like Montreal with a dedicated fan base, you might not see many visiting jerseys unless it’s like Toronto or Boston. Likewise a team with a weak fan base can expect either empty seats or a lot more visiting team jerseys based on the other teams “fan base” rating. I would like to have A LOT more variety of arena music between puck drops or during the intermission. 

Sliders sliders and sliders and make sure they are effective. A prime example is the “aggression” slider. At 0 or 1, it’s still way too aggressive. In a real NHL game, you might see 20-30 hits in the entire game. In EANHL game at 5.. I’ll see 80-100 hits per game even at 5. I reduce it to 1 and it’s still 70 hits per game. I understand the Devs put in a lot of work in the animations, but at times it’s EANHL hit fest. At 0 players should avoid hits at all cost. At 10, anything goes. The AI sliders needs to be revamped. If you want to know what Im talking about, I’ll be more than happy to tell you. 

Game play is better but in BAP, where is the ICE-Q?? I see nothing resembling the trailer for ICE-Q game play in BAP. It’s always the same. Break away, pass to a player near the board, and they shoot the puck. I have not seen any defenseman, walk the blue line as shown in the Trailers. And make Penalty killing more realistic. Why is my PK unit trying to score every single time? Why done they clear, then change up?  And why cant the goalie have the option to call for changing lines or adjust the offense/defense? 

Have team realistic locker rooms for every NHL team. Allow the Goalie to save up to 3 pad color schemes. So they can have a Home, Away, Alternate Pad color schemes.  Allow contract negotiations, give us more than 1-3 options when you are a free agent, Allow us to see transactions that happen during the season and offseason, let us see how long an injured player is out for, customize the ticker at the bottom of the screen so I can see trades and roster moves. Why do I have to wait 10 min after the trade deadline to see all the trades? Let us play in the All Star game if selected. Play in the winter classic, Allow us to see other teams lines,
