On Xbox go to Settings > Devices & Connections > Controllers & Headsets.
The best thing to get around this issue is buying a GamesirG7 controller for Xbox (much cheaper than the elite controller). It comes with back buttons than you can map your Right stick to. This has totally improved the playability of this game imo.
I’m not sure of any PS5 choices besides their officially licensed one.

This is the correct answer. The Gamesir G7 SE or HE is the way to go. Yes they are wired but they are feature packed and amazing. Had my SE over a year and still have zero drift or problems and I game on Apex, NHL, FIFA, Street Fighter. All intense stick type games. Now coming this spring they are making a wireless G7 Pro for Xbox.
I personally need wireless. Tv is kind of far off and with the dog and cat they will be walking across the wire.
