Why can’t you aim your own stick?
You can. Hold R1 to initiate the Defensive Skill Stick (DSS) and then click Right Stick (R3) to poke from the angle at which your stick is currently at.
You can even initiate DSS and simply angle it to prevent the puck carrier from doing anything without actually using poke check too:
I noticed somehow that the stick went right though the player and that has never happened in Be A Pro
