I agree 100% the poke check has been reduced in effectiveness.
I believe EA did this up purpose so we arent able to spam the poke check.
I have yes noticed when I poke the puck off the opposing players stick, the puck moves a few feet away and half a second later the opposing player picks up the loose puck and then scores, as my goalie is completely out of position.
I have learned not to spam the poke check as much but still find it frustrating, when knocking the puck off the players stick and the puck bounces right on to his team mates stick when the puck direction is in no relation to the pucks new no direction, making no physical sense.
My belief their is some logic in the calculation that gives the opposing team a advantaged to get this loose puck. As the puck direction makes no sense at all.
The puck should be going to where no one is, the direction of the poke check, not one foot away where buddy reaches behind himself, picks it up and then scores.
