These are things that can easily be figured out. Most games based on dedicated servers have this ability already, so why it's suddenly a concern just for NHL is strange.

Obviously, this kind of system would only be used in EASHL - but I'm really tired of 'trolls' being used as excuses for why things can't be added to improve the quality of life in this game.
If EA would be a little more heavy-handed in handing out bans for violating the terms of service, then we wouldn't have to be endlessly concerned about 'trolls' , allowing them to dictate whether or not we can have awesome features.

Allow only 1 re-join, and the player must reconnect before the end of the current period.
If you get disco'd near the end of the period, you either hurry back or tough **bleep**.
Setting an example by way of permanent bans for being a troll would disincentivize a lot of the poor behaviour we see in EASHL today and might free us from the shackles of being scared of what the trolls will do.
