James Cybulski is the play by play announcer along with commentary here and there from Cheryl Pounder. So they are actual people not AI. However I think EA would have the "if we have to do it for one we have to do it for all" mentality with having different play by play languages.
I would like to see a new play by play announcer though. Being a jets fan I'd love to see TSNs Dan Robertson, amazing voice and just overall makes watching games extremely enjoyable, think Montreal fans would agree as he used to call games for them.
