I drive a Ford you drive a Chevy why do you a car is a car so why not drive a Ford oh gee it is because you prefer Chevy over Ford but they keep both styles don't they but my point many like to have as many options of game play like the control's you have not given one true reason to remove them other then you deciding what's best for us. Remember like EA sports always said if it is in the game it is in the game well NHL 94 controls were in the game but now they are gone not because they don't work but because you like to give and take thanks again for saving me now two years in a row $70.00 now that is not going to be in the game but in my pocket.
What is missing from the Hybrid controls? Without knowing that, there is nothing I can relay back to the team to support returning them.

Hi! Longtime player here of the NHL series... literally have bought every game until now.. and, literally, this topic of no 94 controls, is the only reason I will not be buying NHL 25... because, without those controls, I physically will not be able to play the game. I have a physical disability, and, because the positioning of my hands, I can only reach two buttons and one analog stick. Total. The 94 controls were perfect. Shooting (wrist and slap) were in one button (tap for a wrist shot and hold for a slap shot). That’s the difference from hybrid to 94 controls. It’s not just faceoffs. I can’t even do faceoffs with the hybrid controls because I can’t reach the right analog. I guess I can’t speak for everyone using the 94 controls, but it’s understood that we might be missing out on the cool/innovative/new controls that is being built into the game, but having no 94 controls is having us miss out on the game entirely. The decision to have no 94 controls is hindering players, and, in the end, losing money on game purchases for EA. I hope this can get fixed. Not another NHL game will be purchased by me until it does... simply because I cannot physically play the game.

Hi there. It's absolutely unfortunate to hear this. I'll pass on your feedback. Thank you.

Hybrid controls still miss the ability to hold down either of the passing buttons and have the icons appear above your other offensive players to specifically pick the player you want the pass to go to. Right now you have to aim the control stick at them and hope the game understands which player you are aiming at if there is a few players in the general vicinity. Unfortunately the game gets it wrong very often leading to extreme frustration.
Not sure if this is a Hybrid issue but selecting the players you want to switch to on defense is very difficult as well. I have tried every which way that is available but getting the game to gets it wrong so often it is unreal. Being on defense needs the option to hold the switch player button and bring up icons above your other players to select to switch to as well. Getting these two things integrated into Hybrid controls would alleviate the frustration I have with the controls an immense amount. The other control options are just awful in my opinion and I can't use them.
