It's a reverse hit. I'm not really seeing any issues with this.
How not? I didn’t even interact with his player. All I did was skate towards him. You can’t poke check or stick lift. So you’re saying I can just carry the puck and hit A as soon as someone gets near me and rail road them and it’s not a penalty or anything. That’s crazy

You should still be able to poke. You're close enough for a reverse hit though. That's their intended use. If you know someone likes to reverse hit, you can back off and play a little more conservatively. Wait for a better opportunity to separate them from the puck.

Yeah, I ran into a player like that in WoC recently. After a couple times of getting knocked down, I realized that's all he was going to do and just kept distance and defended him with pokechecks.
