So the most annoying part about any NHL game nowadays is that I lose my connection with the network. Not that I play online but it’s annoying when I have a good connection on my wifi that the game tells me I should check my connection and I know I have it but it their sever is at fault. So I think easports show just get a better network. Among a lot of other things. I will leave it there before I get banned. ( like actually criticizing the product.)
NHL seems to be very strict when it comes to the WiFi signal quality. I temporarely had the router 5 meters further (behind a wall), still had good signal and speedtests were perfect, but NHL kept kicking me off the servers.
Multiplayer gaming on a wireless connection is a serious no-no. A wireless connection instantly increases ping right off the bat - which is an important metric in determining connection quality for gaming. Then, you get signal interference which is dynamic. Meaning; someone turns on the microwave - boom, interference. Neighbour using the same wireless channel as you? Boom, interference. Heck, even a solar storm can interfere. These things don't normally bother people using wireless for general browsing or even streaming videos. But when using something like NHL - you'll notice every single packet that isn't delivered 100%.
It can get you through in a pinch (travelling) but if your xbox is in a permanent spot - I implore you to run a hardwire connection and your experience will be much more consistent.

It's not the game kicking you off the servers. You're losing connection due to being on wireless. As with all of our sports games, the moment the connection drops, you take a loss. Switching to a wire should help.
EA_Aljo Will moments still be a major way of earning cards in NHL 26? I can’t tell you the amount of people I know who dropped HUT bc of offline moment grinding. Would it be possible to remove that and instead earn progress towards these cards through in-game challenges? That way you get to play the mode you like while also working towards rewards. Nobody likes offline grinding. I think it would be huge for player retention

Or perhaps fixing the issue that's been ongoing for years. Same thing happens everyday. 3rd period suddenly lose connection. I do mean every day, fix your servers cause this is just frustrating the fan base
Community ManagerWe aren't getting other reports of disconnecting in the 3rd. If this were an issue on our end, we'd be hearing about it a lot more.
What troubleshooting have you tried so far? Are you using a wired or wireless connection?
