While I believe you when you say it counted, we really need the video to show it.

Why? What additional information does that add? I've posted videos here for years of goals, penalties, non-calls, etc and I've never needed the clip to continue past the incident to prove the call in the game went the way I said it did. What's different here? Regardless, it's a clip from a couple of months ago, I can't go back and get "proof".

Because, we won't know definitively. There's always going to be the possibility that it didn't count. We need to be sure. Just keep it in mind in the future.
I would have thought I'd be taken at my word at this point. Rest assured, I'll try to make sure any videos I bother to post here in the future are long enough that you won't have to wonder if I'm just making things up.

With all due respect. All you have to do is play a few games and you can see for yourself. This one is pretty common.

It's not really that common and if it is - just snag a video of it and post it here.

I don't think anyone is claiming you're making anything up. While replay angles give a good sense of the physical interactions between players models and the environment, it doesn't showcase the logical sequence of events, such as visual indicators of when the goal sequence begins, that would allow a proper debug of the situation.

There's definitely issues with goalie interference, probably going back to around NHL 20.
Goalie interference seems to trigger perfectly fine most of the time if a player without the puck contacts the goalie and another player scores. But, even then, you still get clips like this one where I ran into the goalie hard enough to knock him over, my teammate burried the rebound, and the goal stood. That shouldn't happen.
There's also issues where puck carriers will sometimes beeline straight into the goalie before the puck crosses the goalline and it'll stand as a good goal. I've said for a long time that it seems like the game ignores puck carriers when it comes to goalie interference. I'll try to get a clip of what I'm talking about.

You posted a great clip of that happening.
The only thing I can think of here is that a player from the red team makes contact with the goalie immediately after the team in white gains possession and before the puck crosses the line.
I'm going to make a guess here in that the in-game logic decided the interference came from the teammate due to the player in red being the last player to make contact with the goalie before the puck crossed the line, so the no-goal sequence was omitted.
Not saying it's correct. This type of stuff needs to be looked at. Just trying to make a guess as to why it played out the way it did.

I'm wondering if maybe the game is going off who last made contact with the goalie, and so even if my player obliterates the goalie, interference doesn't get called because his own teammate technically makes contact last.
I also have this clip: https://www.xbox.com/play/media/u25Fu2Rfbu
Now, this one there wasn't contact from a teammate, but still no call. I was full sprint when I hit the goalie, but it seems like maybe there wasn't enough severity in the contact to trigger interference? I'm not too sure, tbh.
If it helps, my build stats in these clips were roughly 94 speed/acceleration, 83 balance, 80 body checking, 84 strength.
I was also wondering about this while writing this post. You know how you can shove a player away from the puck and it doesn't always trigger a penalty? Like, the player can get knocked off balance and all that, but there won't be a penalty, depending on your discipline, I guess. I wonder if it's a similar thing with goalies where there are times when you make contact with the goalie, it might be enough to move the goalie, but not enough to trigger interference. Idk, just a thought I had.
