Scoring

I just don't even get that EA is paying people like also and kidshowtime year after year to come here and gaslight people and pretend like the game is actually really great if people would just be willing to adapt when there's such a consensus and ample evidence that this game is messed up beyond repair. That instead of paying programmers to learn and to debug this mess. EA paid for a game engine a few years ago and can't change/fix anything to it so they just add a few more broken gimmicks every year for publicity campaigns and call it a day. 

Examples (I will post more of each type) of terrible mechanics that have long been brought up, were never fixed and never will be because EA doesn't own their product:

Rampant glitching, for example L2ing and shortside cheese (cut the 2nd clip a bit short but goal, obviously):

Incredibly idiotic, unrequested AI line change timing whereas when players are gassed out they'll skate up and down the ice a few times before going to the bench:

Ai just brutalized players who don't have the puck leaving you constantly 4on5 in the offensive zone. Or just ai auto-hitting everyone the second they receive the puck, turning lazy and weak players who don't even bother to anticipate the play and/or switch players actually decent defenders (bonus reverse hits gimmick at the end):

I'm kind of pissed because I didn't realize my ps5 had a 15 saved videos limit and I had so many more examples. Among those missing clips, a few showing how the AI Dmen never hugs the sideboard when you get in the zone depriving you of the most basic, easiest pass option. Something they teach toddlers who as soon as they can stand on the ice. Absolutely infuriating.
