Speed glitch
Why is it so hard to release a game without a speed glitch? and why isnt the speed glitching fixed in an emergency patch? Is the game literally designed to have these speed glitches in? Its once...

I did not take a video...I know its easy and im lazy but I also thought this was super common knowledge?
Just hit LT while skating with puck and you gain a boost and from what i understand, if you get puck and "protect puck" shortly before using LT you also gain a large speed boost.
Its rampant throughout the game right now and it makes Defense completely stupid because nomatter your stats you can get burned so the only real defense is playing further back to account for the speed glitch.
How is it that everyone but EA knows about this.
Yeah I'm not a fan of it and reported on it. I too also hope they find a way to curb it down. People also finding nifty ways to LT to keep their back to plays is another fun one too.
Yes, its killing the game. Instead of playing hockey, we play a game against people who obviously dont know hockey or care to play it but rather just find a bunch of exploits to play AROUND hockey to win. its really killing the game to me anyways.
I don't look at things like they don't know how to play hockey. I look at it like they take advantage of what the game is giving to them to the fullest. I can't lie... I also use the technique because if they are going to do it then I might as well also. But it doesn't mean I don't want it fixed asap.
The fact is that no move or skill is overly used in an average NHL hockey game - that is what they meant I believe. I play offline only (gave up on online in NHL 22) - there is no issue with it at all. Works pretty well and the AI can keep up with it, without an issue (higher difficulty used)
