I've found in past games, usually as the turner updates and patches add up, the game tends to morph back into the previous year's game. Everything new and exciting is toned down and we're generally left with last year's game again.
That is exactly how it's feeling. I thought we'd actually have a fresh start with how Early Access felt in NHL25 but now we're back to the same old influencer-catered slog that NHL24 ended up being.
