WCHEL crashes permanently

For a few days now, the game has been crashing constantly on my PlayStation 5. The game has become almost unplayable for me. If I'm lucky, I can play the first period. If I'm unlucky, and this happens regularly, the game stops at some point and the screen freezes. There is no response to inputs from the controller and I can only close the application completely.

What I've tried so far: checking the internet connection, nothing unusual. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game including rewriting the PS5 database, deleting cache data, nothing works.

What's going on here? Do you have any solutions for me?

Yes. I have already checked that too, removed the covers on the side and removed the minimal dust and dirt, with no results. 😖

Is your console in a location where it's well ventilated though? Meaning, not in an enclosed space where there's little air circulation. We're getting very few reports of this so it seems to be a hardware issue.
