WE WANT NCAA TEAMS NOT PWHL

I guess "we" would be both college hockey fans as well as anyone who wants to see American prospects added to the game, given that neither the USHL or NAHL are included either.  The title of the game is NHL and the NCAA produces 1/3 of the players in the NHL.  For the record, I AM HAPPY to see the PWHL programs in the game, but my post came off as negative to the PWHL as it did because they were added to the game after only their first season, while at the same time there have been people hoping for NCAA/USHL leagues to be added for years.  

I get that licensing can be an obstacle for NCAA hockey, but an opt-in opportunity for colleges and athletes wouldn't necessarily have to be that complicated because they already have the contractual framework and precedent from football, and it would be a heck of a lot cheaper, if not pretty much free, as most of the programs would just be happy to be included for marketing reasons, and relative to FB, NIL is hardly a thing in hockey.  On top of that, there is very little evidence to suggest that EA has put in a legitimate effort to explore this. 

So just to reiterate, I'm not necessarily against the PWHL, and women's NCAA programs, where pretty much everyone in the PWHL comes from, could be included as well.  The NCAA is a significant feeder league to both the NHL and PWHL, and as such, both the Men's and Women's NCAA programs should be supported, and they could use any additional marketing that they can get, because if the games aren't on TV and if the main stream sports media doesn't talk about them, how can can they thrive and how can we grow the sport if those who have a vested interest in it don't even try? 

Same! I am psyched to see PWHL in there. Of course, once NCAA is in there, they'll be new created-today, 1-post accounts whining about NCAA women's teams instead of - I don't know, USports? Or USHL?
