Why 120 FPS in NHL 25 Will Change the Way You Play Forever

We all want 120 FPS instead of 60 FPS in NHL 25 because it elevates the gaming experience to a whole new level. At 120 FPS, the gameplay feels smoother, more responsive, and immersive, especially in fast-paced, high-action hockey scenarios. It’s not just about visuals—it’s about feeling every pass, hit, and goal with unparalleled fluidity. For competitive players, the reduced input lag at higher frame rates provides a critical edge, making split-second decisions more precise. Once you experience the game at 120 FPS, going back to 60 FPS feels like skating in slow motion.

  • You're not playing the game at 120fps.

The game is rendered in 60fps. If you're playing on a 120hz monitor (or using Game Boost on Ps5), the additional 60 frames are being interpolated by your TV/Console and there's no actual gameplay advantage.

I’m telling you what we want, not what we’re currently playing on.

  • Sorry, your AI-Generated post implied you were playing at 120FPs and those of us who weren't, were suffering.

Can it find my club a game in under 2 hours? Then it won't be changing the way I play. The only gameplay I have is sitting in the dressing room
