World of Chel is in Sad state

NHL World of Chel is in a pretty sad state this year. Here are some thing I believe would help turn that around.

1- Remove the pressure system or reduce its effects

2- Make the goalies better. Goalies are terrible this year

3- Balance Hip Checks. Way too over powered.

4- Balanced Reverse hitting. Should only be done with the perk.

5- Remove the Pre-Built loadouts. They are Over powered and are not needed.

Feel free to add anything I am missing. Thanks

So I don’t think we can say it is in a sad state. The core gameplay is pretty solid here.

    1. The full pressure system was fine but their was one problem that needed to be addressed, that for whatever reason, the meter would drain at the same speed when it was out of the zone as when you were holding and cycling the puck inside the zone. So you could have your meter at near full and cycle for 20 seconds in their zone only to have him enter with 1/2 the meter filled still. They just need to fix this issue so it drains like in 24 or have it so it immediately depletes if you are out of the zone for like 5 seconds lets say.

    2. Goalies weren’t bad this year in comparison to previous. They stopped a lot of cross creases that shouldn’t have been stopped. I think it was just the full pressure being active was what made some of this weird. Otherwise pretty solid.

3-4. Hip checks were broken at the beginning but it really got better in a later patch. Now you need some form of speed as if you hit a person with a hip now sometimes they just lose a little balance. I would like to see it tweaked a little more but its not bad as is. Reverse hits are the perfect scissors to hip checks paper so I don’t think this should be removed. If you are a small forward you are more often than not going to only maintain balance vs knocking them down. Its a great counter to those that are just running on people with nothing they can do. So again i think these two balance each other out.

    5. Preset builds have a huge use for the more casual people that want to just use a build without thinking about which attributes go where. They probably shouldn’t have, however, perks that are banned like elite edges or wheels but that’s my personal opinion on it. Either way preset builds = a casual players quick access to WoC.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.

1- The pressure system feels too easy to get to max pressure, I don’t know exactly what the metric is for it, 2-3 shots on goal and it’s achieved. Feels too easy, and then the goalies start flopping around and makes for easy goals imo

2- Goalies still seem bad to me. It’s like every year, all you see are the same goals, but now we’ll play games in 6v6 clubs and the other team will have 4 goals on 8 shots. Not even good shot either.  It’s weird.

3-Hip checks are still OP. When they balanced hip checks, and the made it size based, which is great. But it is easily the most abused thing in the game currently.

4- Reverse hitting needs to be limited to just the perk. Too many smaller players use and they do it just to make any hit attempts bounce off. And bigger players use it and they wreck other players. So what’s the point of even having the perk then?

5- I understand pre builds for drop ins and then other WOC arcade modes. But not in 3v3 clubs and 6v6 clubs. Feels counterproductive for a competitive game.

    Anyways, thanks for the reply.
