Hey there. I definitely get that duplicates are frustrating. Unfortunately, they are possible though and we can't replace them.

If BND will still be a thing in future games, would it be possible to do something for BND duplicates so that they wouldn't be completely useless? I mean tradeable duplicates can be sold in the auction house and untradeable duplicates can be used in sets, but since BND cards can only be used in our team, there is absolutely no use for a duplicate of a BND card. And yet there is a possibility that we use lots of fodder to complete a set and end up with a completely useless BND duplicate.
As it is, I don't want to complete any BND set that could give me a card that I already have as BND. For example, I would like to do the 6 collectible BND Fantasy Hockey set, but I already have two of the cards available in that set as BND, so I don't want to take the risk of getting one of those two cards as BND again. But if it was so that even in the worst case scenario of getting a BND duplicate I would get at least some kind of value back for the fodder I used to complete the set, then I would maybe be willing to take that risk.
My suggestion is that we would get coins or collectibles or packs or something for quick selling a duplicate BND card. And the higher the card we are quick selling, the more we would get, just like how we get coins for quick selling a tradeable card.
This might very well not be the only way to get something out of a duplicate BND card, and you might be able to come up with a different way, but this is what came to my mind.
I also know that some sets say "There is a BND card as a reward from this set. You will not be able to use BND cards in future sets unless specified.". We haven't found out yet what the "unless specified" means, but if it means that it is possible to create a set that allows the use of BND cards, that could also be a solution.
What do you think, could something like this be done in the future so that BND duplicates wouldn't be completely useless?

Should have just made BND cards untradeable. This introduction to BND cards as VSfN states. Are useless unless used. Revert this ill thought out concept back to UT. Has always been that way in the past. If its decided to keep this format next year, then make a gateway for them to be more than useless. Like previously mentioned. A swap like is done in Xfactor. Or have its own trade up set. Hopefully. They will just scrap this BND altogether. Not sure what the logic was in presenting this idea.

I believe the logic behind BND was that EA could give us more cards or higher overall cards without worrying about giving us too much fodder for sets.
If you think about all of the BND cards that we have gotten this year, we might not have gotten many of those cards at all if BND wasn't a thing. For example, we might not be allowed to get a guaranteed 94 overall card with event collectibles. Or we might not have gotten upgradeable XP cards or a Fantasy Hockey card with only 6 collectibles. So it's not as simple as just changing all BND cards to untradeable. EA might think that we either get a card as BND or we don't get it at all. And at least those BND cards that we get from event objectives serve the purpose of helping us with the more time consuming objectives.
But I'm definitely not completely happy with what EA has done with BND cards, and also what they have not done with BND cards. There is a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to duplicate BND cards.
