Hello everyone, I thought I'd ask a question about why my Claude Giroux 82 Cover Athlete card is account bound, same goes for my Jere Lehtinen. Why would the very cards I need for an event be account bound? Can anyone explain this? I could be two cards away from making an 85 but instead I am stuck with event cards that I can't move, makes zero sense.

I love the idea of returning the lower rated cards BND when used in sets but to make 'Rewards' BND isn't much of a reward. I might see a point to it if we were getting the highest rated OVRs in game at that moment but we're not.
This is by far the biggest negative to the game at the moment.
Even if we aren't getting the highest overall cards, the BND system makes it possible for EA to give us lots of free event cards without worrying about giving us too much fodder for sets. If there were no BND cards, then we wouldn't be getting as many free event cards as we are now. And we can get 6 free non BND 82+ overall Cover Athlete cards besides the 2 BND ones, which means that we can get a free MSP. The 2 BND cards are very easy to get and they can help us complete the event objectives to get more rewards. That being said, I do agree with you to some extent. I just don't think 2 of the 8 free Cover Athlete cards being BND is a big deal when the 6 non BND cards are enough to make an MSP.
Yes, I get what you are saying, even though I missed out on a few of them, and I really don't want to put Sakic in this set if I don't have too.
I agree. Maybe it's an error, we'll have to wait and see.
Just in case you didn't know, there are 6 free non BND 82+ overall Cover Athlete cards: one in week 1 objectives, one in week 2 objectives, one in the free pack in the store and 3 in Moments. That is enough to make an MSP. The week 1 objectives and the free pack in the store are no longer available though. But anyway, it's only 2 of the 8 free 82+ overall Cover Athlete cards that are BND, and I'm pretty sure it's not an error.
