I've noticed my AI behaving different after week 2 of gallery of the greats came out. I can set them to full forecheck and they still play very passive. when I lose possession of the puck, not even on a turnover just simply the puck not being possessed by anyone my defense leaves the zone and all of my forwards start retreating to the blueline, and on a turnover its the same thing, they don't try any forechecking or plays to regain control, same for defensive pressure I can set that to full pressure but all of my AI act like it is contain puck and huddle in front of the goalie causing a massive screen.Going against AI I'm not sure if their shots have been cranked or if my goalies got nerfed because all of a sudden they cant stop shots like how they used to. For instance I had a game with my 89 GOTG Hasek against an 80 overall goalie where I had over 30 shots on goal with 5 goals and Hasek lets in 6 goals in under 10 shots all scored by AI that are less than 83 overall or less. I have actually swapped hasek for an 85 hellebuyck for the time being because he can stop these stupid cheap shots that Hasek can't.edit: Not really related to AI but passing has some issues as well. I've had multiple times where I had a breakaway and had a perfect one timer lined up and when I press lets say the X button for my winger who is right beside me instead of passing to him the puck gets sent behind the net completely ruining the chance of scoring with a one tee. I have also had some instances of doing D to D passes on the blue and out of nowhere instead of going across the blue my pass is sent down to my end of the iceAnyone else experiencing these lately?

Hi there. There were no AI changes in the last update. The 1.3.0 update had improvements to AI forechecking, but that's it. We're not aware of any issues with passes going where you're not aiming, but will keep an eye out for this.

Passing back to the defense on a draw while taking the face off in the offensive zone also results in the puck going right by ai that ignores it.And to be aware of issues, you guys actually have to play the game or actively work on it. I question whether or not either happen. Too many broken simple things that remain untouched all year for me to believe anything gets done.

Aljo, I brought up passing months ago. I told you there's errors built in to it now. You told me you were aware and it was being looked in to. Now you say this. This year, in particular, there is significant errors in passing. It has been since launch, also appeared in NHL 24 but in 25 it's obnoxious. The amount of time spent going back to your zone retrieving the puck is beyond acceptable. I was hopeful you were looking in to this, but now it seems that's not the case. Please advise. Personally i think it's because of icon passing. It's created issues since it's inception. EA has been making NHL for 30+ years and we need to talk about passing? This is not player fatigue related either, that's a whole other issue

if only i had a stop watch to track the time being wasted retrieving the puck, let alone possibly costing goals to go in if your opponent doesn't play for himself and allows the AI to forecheck against you. It's a bad state right now, imo. I love a lot of things going on these days, but not if it's going to break the game

Interesting. Then it must be a bi-product of something else going on then. It’s for sure a new moment. Nit sure it affects the outcome of the play tbh but it looks odd to me. I’ll get more and send them to you

In EASHL the D is more useless then ever or the speed has been made faster. EASHL other then 6v6 is so sad.....
Matchmaking : A total joke. Diamonds and purples against gold and silver.
AI D : Complete joke... tap tap tap... skate skate skate breakaway fest.
AI FWDs : Get destroyed all the time.
Short Side Goal Dekes.... total joke... go to play over and over.
Connection Ping.... total joke.
Tap Tap Tap from Goalie : Even though we get a goal every third game from idiots who do this..... its a joke. Total farce.

This is not hockey... its a video game for morons.
