The odds are per pack not per card. You had a 2% chance of not getting an 86+ and unfortunately you hit that 2%.

On the the pack odds screen it says "Minimum probability of getting one or more players of the OVR range or described category in the pack". That means the odds are per pack not per card. Even if it was per card, the odds of getting an 86+ are not 100%. It sucks you didn't get an 86 and I agree with you that the packs are too expensive.
So your premise is. Odd of 98% of getting a pack.?They are stating whats in the pack and the odds of that particular rated card being IN THE PACK! And yeah I do agree with you 98 isn't 100.
