Does Anyone know when Icon passing will be reactivated or is it gone forever?

Ok I'm glad I saw this post I was losing my sh*t and thought I did something in the settings . It better return I just broke a controller on the 6th time in a row not completing a 2 on 1 with the pass heading towards my net not to the player on the break with me , it's unplayable

They are working on a fix and hope to have it ready in the near future.   Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

Don't get your hopes up for "near future" 

The desync is lot more difficult problem than it seems. They have tried to fix it before and yet it has remained in the game for decade by now.

So is the controller layout still missing on replays where you could check If it were your mistake If The puck didn't go where you ment IT to go.

Asked why they removed that layout here in forum about 4-5 years ago. Aljo told that it was a mistake they did. So If that was a mistake and havent corrected so this might take a while...

Vision Passing should have never been introduced anyway, it lessens the skill gap. I've been having a lot more fun without it, some of my opponents can't seem to make plays if they have to pass the puck the way you're supposed to, manually. 

I agree, at first it was really inconveniencing, but now I feel like I'm able to pass a lot more accurately. 

That's exactly it! You can thread the needle when you pass it yourself and you can choose to sauce it too. But with vision passing, it chooses for you.

How was manual passing nerfed? I never made the switch to icon passing and haven't noticed anything nerfed about manual passing. 

For reference, I'm a SB player. In the past when we manual passed the player will usually make the pass directly to the player you are aiming for, now when you manual pass a lot of times players will miss the intended target entirely or pass the puck to an open area with no players in the vicinity, that did not happen as much in the past games as it does not. Also for some reason two to three foot passes in the offensive zone is nearly impossible as the player accepting the pass almost never picks up the pass.

The biggest grief when it comes to passing for me is that the lateral pass ALWAYS goes to the furthest guy regardless how many teammates are in the path. This makes lateral passes very risky
