Does Anyone know when Icon passing will be reactivated or is it gone forever?

Passes not going where you aim them sounds like more of a manual aim issue. Once in a while I miss the player I'm aiming for. I'll chalk that up to bad aim at the moment. I actually like the ability to put passes into open ice so I can chase them down with a forward. This is situational, but comes in handy. Regardless, the vast majority of my passes are hitting their intended targets and I'm not hearing many other complaints. I think people suddenly forced to use manual passing are probably taking time to adapt to this.

Have you tried tapping the pass button instead of holding it in for a charged pass?

No. This issue is not intended and a fix is in the works.

THIS!! The game feels SOOOOO MUCH better. This nonsense that the game is unplayable shows how unskilled much of he player base really is.

Sorry, I'm not even going to read any further. This is where all my hope that you have testers for your game at EA ends. If you don't know that this year's passing system is monumentally ruined, then there's something very wrong with your company. It's completely obvious from the first minute of playing and there's no way to prevent it. The only thing that helped was lowering the passing assistant to 65 at least, and it's still a lot of misery. Especially in the defensive zone, the pass goes completely differently than I aim and please don't tell me anything about my skill or controller, I play other games too, I would know if I had some kind of cognitive dysfunction or a bad gamepad. I don't even use those markers above the players, it feels like a brutal fraud and incredibly embarrassing, I don't know who you put it there for, but let's go with it, okay. Also, the one timer could only be incorporated into the game without a visible ring under the player, because it only caused some players to do nothing but circle around like a ballet dancer, always facing the barriers, waiting for the one timer ring to appear, it's terrible and destroys the attractiveness of the game.

Ok. We'll keep an eye out for issues with manual passing. I have mine on 100% assist and am hitting my targets. Appreciate the feedback.

So can somebody answer me this, when you are using the total control configuration how can you possibly use the left stick for both your movement of player direction and the left stick also for pass direction because the right stick is for your shot dynamics, shot type,and shot direction.

At the exact moment you release the pass button, just direct the left stick where you want to send it.
