EA found a way to ruin their only profitable mode

EA you have to realize that the replay factor of your game dropped significantly when you went to a linear path for XP. You have lost so many players that lose interest in grinding for 40+ days to get one good pack. The weekly packs gave everyone hope for something to sell, trade or keep and you took that away. These pack were just as crappy as the rewards in your XP path,  but we waited for them, almost needed them like a drug.  The entire basis of casino playing is the instant gratification and now there is none. How did no one on your company realize this? It doesn't matter how much you change the game back to NHL 2x the endorphins released when opening packs every week is gone, and that means more than anything you do with gameplay. This is the only mode people spend real money on and you dropped the ball on this one.  So sad.
