As far as alumni players go, you can request them on these forums or send me a private message. That doesn't mean we can get them in though. It all comes down to having the rights to use them in the game. Which, we can't always get.

Community ManagerThe 98 Caufield has a chance of being received in any event pack.
Ok, thanks for the info. So 98 Caufield is available in all event packs, but there is no guaranteed pack for 98 Caufield, whereas 99 Hedman is only available in one pack, but that pack is guaranteed to include 99 Hedman. If you are going to release a similar card to 98 Caufield in every week of the Pre-Season event, those cards should be displayed on a banner so that we know how we can get the card. And by the way, when there is a guaranteed pack for an exclusive player like 99 Hedman, the name of the player should be mentioned in the pack description instead of just vaguely talking about an exclusive player. I know the card is displayed on a banner so there is a way to know who the exclusive player is, but I don't understand why the name of the exclusive player isn't mentioned in the pack description.
