online rivals input lag is unplayable

Are you saying you're still having input lag? Are you playing on a wired or wireless connection?

I'm still dealing with this.

I have a good monitor (165hz)

 good interent (1.5 gb download and 100 upload)

Wired controller on xbox. Just every game feels like 2 second delay

Can you confirm that a button is hit, but it takes 2 seconds show on screen? It would be good to a see a video of this.

Have you also checked your HDMI cable to make sure it's at least Cat6?

Is Dolby Vision enabled in your Xbox settings? If so, try disabling it.

He'd be able to post a video if you guys didn't disable showing the inputs in replay mode.

In comparison to the amount of people playing, we get very few reports of input lag. There are many different variables that can cause this that are not on our end. 

I would absolutely love the controller overlay to return. That wasn't an issue of just disabling it or it would have been enabled again. It's a technical issue and there have been more important things to handle instead.

What I need is a video showing you hitting a button on the controller and when it plays out on-screen. 2 seconds is a huge amount of delay. If this were common, we'd be hearing about it a lot more so it's best we go through some connection troubleshooting.

It's not actually input lag like that. People just have sluggish movement for whatever reason. You point your stick where you want to go it registers it but your skater is slow to start moving. It's not input lag. It's the horrible net code.

I play VS and there is input delay ,and yes I'm wired 

If this were a code issue, everyone would be experiencing it. We'll keep an eye out for other reports.

Online Versus games do not take place on our servers. That mode uses a peer to peer connection so either you or your opponent are the host. If one of you has a bad connection, both will feel it.
