Quebec Server
As a North East player in the higher divisions every game I face a QC Montreal kid with a god tier connection who can do whatever he wants. Is EA going to ever address the blatant advantage these kid...
I’ve spent over 2k on this game and one game I’ll load in and my players feel like they're in mud or won't pick up the puck or I can hit my opponent ten times and never get the puck back and the next game it feels like a completely different game and they skate and pick the puck up and knock the puck off the opponents. Why is there a huge difference in gameplay from game to game? Why does the North East not have any servers where they can play Montreal kids besides their hometown server where they have less than 5 ping? You can't compete against kids with less than 5 pings when you're sitting mid-40s.
The only reason the maximum ping setting being put at 20ms and putting me in servers that are over 20 ping means it doesn'twork or the game doesn't have a server available that can put me in a game that's less than 20ms ping. Why does this billion-dollar company not have more servers available that allow for a more equal playing field? What is the point in getting better cards and being placed in games where they don't even perform like they're supposed to based on ping? Playing Div 1 in this game is a waste of time because every kid you play is QC French Quebec with a clear advantage from the server. I'd love a breakdown of the top 100 kids in Hut Champs and their average ping throughout the process. I bet you find they're all playing on less than 10ms ping.
You're not going to win based solely on a higher ping. At least, not with a difference between 5ms and 40ms. 40 is still a good ping. When it's that high, the difference is the skill between the 2 players. You're more than welcome to get video showing the how 2 games are completely different.
Dude anyone who has ever played this game in higher divisions understands exactly what I'm saying and experiences the exact same thing. Why is EA the only people that don't understand what's happening? Is it “skill” that allows your opponent to win every loose puck battle and take countless bumps without ever losing the puck? Is it his skill after I finally get the puck back I lose it after skating into my opponent's bubble and repeating the process over and over again. Where are the Northeast servers located? Lower ping has a lot more advantages than higher overalls in this game. Why does this billion-dollar company make kids from New York and Pennsylvania connect to a Quebec server constantly? I understand they're the number one market share for this game, but I see no point in playing this game with the clear disadvantage you face online based solely off the company's lack of effort to get more serves and make the online experience more balanced.
