As far as completing objectives go and not receiving the rewards after the event ends, that is intended. I have passed on the feedback that you'd like to collect rewards after the event completes. The best I can advise is to collect those rewards before the event ends. I don't know if this will change or not.

What? How can it be intended that we can end up in a situation where we can't claim the rewards for an objective that we have completed? That doesn't make any sense at all. If we have completed an objective before it expires, then we have earned the reward and it shouldn't be taken away from us just because we didn't claim it before the objective expired.

I understand that claiming the rewards before the objective expires is the best you can advise right now, and that's what I should have done as well. But it can happen that we for example forget to claim the rewards before the objective expires, and as we have seen it can also happen that the objective expires too early. It is completely unfair that we lose the chance to claim the rewards in such a situation.

It's not the same thing as if we forget to complete the objective before it expires, or fail to complete it before the deadline for some other reason. As I said, if we have completed an objective, then we have earned the reward and it shouldn't be taken away from us.

I find it very hard to believe that such a stupid and unfair thing is intended. But if it really is intended, can you explain the reasoning behind that decision?

Look, I absolutely get the frustration with this. I can't overstate that. Unfortunately, I don't have any other details. I have let the team know how you feel. We'll have to wait and see if anything changes.

A quick update. I just found out that objectives are able to be claimed for a day after the event ends starting today. 

Ok, thanks for the update. Are you sure it didn't already start last week, and are you sure that it's only one day and not until the next content update? I mean the Fantasy Hockey and Supernatural week 1 objectives expired on Friday, and I'm pretty sure they weren't removed until today.

Anyway, thanks for confirming it because I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not. I can also see that the Washington Capitals objectives hasn't been removed even though they have expired so you can still claim the 84 Dubois card if you haven't claimed it yet.

I'm happy that something was done about this issue. This solution isn't 100% guaranteed to prevent all cases of being unable to claim objective rewards, but I believe it will prevent most of those cases from happening in the future. At least in my case I would have been able to claim all of the objective rewards that I missed because the objectives had expired if this solution had been implemented back then. I hope the rewards for expired objectives will some day be auto claimed in HUT, just like they are in EA FC, and just like Wildcard and XP path rewards are auto claimed in HUT.

By the way, I wonder what will happen with the weekly competitive objectives when they expire tomorrow. Will there momentarily be two separate sets of weekly competitive objectives because of this solution for expired objectives? I have noticed that daily objectives don't refresh before you claim your unclaimed rewards, and I think weekly competitive objectives could work the same day. But as long as they won't just disappear right away when they expire without letting us claim our unclaimed rewards, it's fine for me.

Now it's just a matter of getting the X-Factor choice pack that I earned by completing the Ready Set Go objectives, and of course other people should also get the rewards that they are missing from expired objectives. I guess I'll contact and advisor / support, and if they don't help me, I'll send you a private message.

Maybe as a community manager, you could listen to your community, none of us want BND CARDS, NONE OF US WANT BRONZE REWARDS, NONE OF US WANT 68S FOR HUT CHAMPS REWARDS, NERF THE ONE TEES, THEY ARE EXTREMELY OP. This game feels like a job, like you aren't playing for fun, you are playing to get your reward. Shouldn't feel like that.

We just started keeping the objectives available for an extra day starting yesterday. We plan to do this until a better solution is put in place.

What is the reasoning behind this decision?

And what about those people who missed their rewards because the objectives were removed too early? And now I mean people who completed an objective and tried to claim the reward just before it was supposed to expire but it had already been removed. They didn't forget to claim their rewards like me. They missed their rewards because EA made a mistake by removing the objectives before they were supposed to expire. Are you saying that even those people are not going to get their rewards or any kind of compensation for their missing rewards?

And also what about exclusive rewards like 84 Drouin? I mean there are other ways to get X-Factor cards than just objectives so I'm not missing an exclusive reward, but I know there is at least who completed the 84 Drouin objectives but was unable to claim the reward because those objectives were removed too early. It is an exclusive card, so if it won't be retroactively granted to that person, then there is no way for them to get that card even though they completed the objectives. Well, at least the same couldn't happen with 84 Dubois and won't happen with 84 Cuylle and other exclusive rewards because of the solution that you explained.

I don't have any other details regarding the previous rewards. Going forward, we're allowing the additional day to collect rewards while we research a better solution.
